At Debra's Dog Den, we're committed to providing exceptional service while maintaining clear expectations for both clients and their companions. Please review these policies carefully before booking.

Package Validity & Completion

Training Packages:
All training packages (Foundation Package, Behavioral Transformation Package) must be completed within 10 weeks of the first session. Sessions not used within this timeframe will be forfeited with no refund or credit.

Enrichment Packages:
Monthly Enrichment Plans renew automatically and may be cancelled with 7 days notice before the next billing cycle.

Day Visit Plans:
Weekly Day Visit Plans renew monthly and may be cancelled with 7 days notice before the next billing cycle.

Payment & Refund Policy

Payment:
Payment is due at the time of booking via check or cash. Credit card and digital payment options may be considered on a case-by-case basis.

Refunds:
All pre-paid packages are non-refundable. This ensures we can reserve dedicated time for your training journey and maintain our commitment to personalized service.

Special Circumstances:
In the event of unforeseen circumstances (such as medical emergencies, relocation, or loss of pet), unused sessions may be converted to a credit balance at the trainer's discretion. Credits are valid for 30 days from the date of issue and may be used for any Debra's Dog Den service.

Single Sessions:
Single session bookings may be cancelled up to 48 hours in advance for a full refund. Cancellations made within 48 hours are non-refundable.

Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy

Cancellations:
Session cancellations require 24 hours advance notice. Cancellations made with less than 24 hours notice, or no-shows, will result in forfeiture of that session from your package with no refund or credit.

Rescheduling:
Sessions may be rescheduled once per package with at least 24 hours notice, subject to availability. Additional rescheduling requests may result in forfeiture of the session.

Trainer Cancellations:
If Debra must cancel a session due to illness, emergency, or weather conditions, you will receive full credit for that session with no impact on your package timeline.

Service Terms

Training Sessions:
Training sessions are conducted in your home and typically last 60-90 minutes. Sessions focus on teaching you the skills to continue training independently. Debra does not offer board-and-train services.

Day Visit Care:
Day visits include a minimum 3-hour commitment and are scheduled based on availability. Real-time photo/video updates are provided during each visit.

VIP Exclusive Overnight Care:
Available by invitation only to established training or enrichment clients. New clients interested in overnight care should begin with Day Visits or Training to build a relationship.

Health & Safety Requirements

Vaccinations:
All dogs must be current on vaccinations (rabies, DHPP, bordetella) and provide proof before the first session.

Health Conditions:
Please disclose any medical conditions, behavioral concerns, or special needs during booking. This ensures we can provide safe, appropriate care tailored to your dog's needs.

Aggression:
For the safety of all involved, Debra reserves the right to decline or discontinue service if a dog displays aggressive behavior toward people or other animals. In such cases, partial refunds or credits may be offered at the trainer's discretion.

Liability

By booking services with Debra's Dog Den, you acknowledge that:

  • You are the legal owner or authorized caretaker of the dog

  • You assume all risks associated with your dog's behavior

  • Debra's Dog Den is not liable for injury, property damage, or loss caused by your dog during or after training sessions

  • You agree to cover any veterinary costs resulting from accidents during scheduled services
